The easYgen-3000 series is subject to continuous improvement. The release 5, introduced in May 2010 with new part numbers, includes new software and hardware.

• The CAN bus message handling has changed to support the Remote Panel. This leads to incompatibilities in load-share applications with more than 10 gensets with different release steps.

• The hardware has been changed due to new feature implementation. Old software does not run on new hardware.
