7. Connecting to SimuBox remote desktop

Now that you know how to interact with the simulation using our Web SimHMI, let's dive deeper, and see how you can interact with the simulated devices using the Toolkit software or VNC. To achieve this you need to get into your cloud simubox.

• Return to settings tab.

• Copy RDP Pin next to simubox status by clicking copy icon.

• On the SimuBox Control tab, press Open Simubox Remote Desktop button.

• A portal with your simubox will open in a new tab. You will be asked for password, paste copied pin.

• Hover your mouse over your simubox and press it with the left mouse button

• Now you should see normal Windows system login view.

• At the top of web you can click button Fit to window to make RDP view responsive.

• Press at the very top:

• In the lower left corner, press the switch user button.

• Select Toolkit User.

IMPORTANT - You will be asked for password, but skip this and confirm with blank field.

Congrats! You should now see your Simubox desktop, complete with pre-installed programs to help you handle your simulations.
