5. Connecting to simulation

Finally when the model is fully running (all devices are active), and we have the selected scenario we can connect the application to the simulation. Connecting means starting polling its parameters in real time.

• Scroll back to the very top of the settings to the Connect to simulation tab.

• Simply press the connect button.

• If the connection was successful, at the bottom of the application in the status bar you will see a green connected symbol, along with all the details such as the full model name, latency, refresh rate, pseudo simulation time.

You can choose your own refresh rate, but we recommend using a refresh rate of 4x per second (250ms). If you have a slower internet connection, you can reduce the refresh rate.
