Integration of non IEC61850 devices in an IEC61850 network

To realize the integration the WAGO-I/O-IPC-C6 controller works as IEC61850 server. 

With the combination of different communication terminals the translation from every communication protocol to IEC61850 can be realized in a very short time.

Only one WAGO converter is required for several easYgen devices

The Wago I/O-IPC-C6 controller collects the information from the Easygen 3500 via CAN bus and stores it in an internal variable. This variable value will be distributed via IEC61850 reporting, goose or sample values to the IEC61850 protection network. Binary signals or measurement values can be used directly by the power generation and distribution process without extra electrical wiring or analog values like 0-10V or 0-20mA.
