Backup battery lifetime estimation for easYgen-3000XT platform controls 

easYgen-3000XT-series use only one battery (Manufacturer: Renata SA TYP CR1225 3V 48mAh Lithium Button cell) for buffering of internal RTC (Real Time Clock) .

 Battery is supposed to back up RTC for 5 years if an  easYgen-3000XT series control is not powered up in this time period. This is depending also on the environmental conditions like average ambient temperature and humidity. 

In normal operation (easYgen-3000XT platform controls) are powered with 12/24VDC) expected battery lifetime is around 8 years. This is again depending on the environmental conditions.  

Attention:

For exchanging internal backup batter all precautions of an ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) conform workbench and behavior is required and  battery exchange shall performed only by an qualified electrical person.
